Well located hotel, right next to the Blois castle, though if you're traveling by train, keep in mind that it's a trek to go up to the station. But that's how the town is built, so nothing Ibis can do about that. Bed was comfortable, toilets and showers clean, and the necessities provided. Reception & staff were very accommodating. It was too hot for May and the A/C hadn't been turned on yet in the hotel, so we asked for a fan and were provided one. Also, the day of our departure, we'd left our luggage with the concierge there and we can back later in the afternoon to pick them up. We had some food with us (from a local creperie) and asked if we could eat in the hotel's bar (since we'd already given back our room) and were provided with seats, a table, cutlery, and everything. It was very nice of them.

ibis Blois Centre Château by far exceeded our expectations. First, by its unbeatable location next to Chateau, within 10 min walking distance to the Blois- Chambord train station, and close proximity to great restaurants (make sure to make dinner reservations, especially in high season). Chateau bus stopped across the street from the hotel, making visits to Chambord and Cheverny a breeze. Amboise with its sights is equally easy to reach (20 min by direct train). Our room (14 m2) faced Chateau (!). It was sparkling clean, very quiet and accommodated two of us easily. Air con was invaluable during heat wave. Breakfast was superb, varied and delicious; staff super friendly and helpful. I definitely plan to come back.

Our stay was off to a bad start as we were given a smoking room with disgusting smell. But we called the reception and they gave us another room and that one was perfect. From then on we enjoyed every moment. The room was clean, modern and spacious enough. The location of the hotel was excellent - walking distance to all the attractions and the bars / restuarants. The parking while not on site, was close enough and had good price. The staff especially in the afternoon / evening were very friendly. Fantastic value for money and a perfect hotel to spend a few nights in lovely Blois.

Excellent location. Parking nearby and only €8 for 2 day stay. Reception staff were a bit mixed in their attitude - one was super helpful, another not so. Room was quite small, ok for a short stay but no storage space or space for suitcases. We were on the 4th floor and there was an old fashioned lift - I’m sure it’s ok and it didn’t break down at all but I’m a bit nervous about that sort of thing.

The room with children bed is big enough and comfortable, the bathroom is clean and all appliance are working well. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is very nice, just next to Blois Castle and the downtown. The parking is not in the hotel but at 300 m, (Castel public Parking), hotel has discount price for guests. the breakfast is good and has a variety of choice.
